Galaxy Note7 Rumors
Rumors always flow around the smartphones and the Galaxy Note 7 coming in August is circled by a round of rumors. There is a lot speculated even though we know some of the official details of the phablet from Samsung.
The Note7 is said to be coming with 3D camera technology and also a 2.5D screen having the next grade screen protection. It is said that Samsung could be launching a hub of business suite apps in the Note7, which will be aided by the S Pen features so that the user gets to use the apps in a better way.
Earlier there were rumors of a foldable concept for Note 7 but that seems unlikely now because Samsung won’t risk with the Note series. Another rumor about the phone is that the device will have the USB Type-C connectivity with the fast charging feature and ultra-fast file transfer from the computer. This will boost up things because Samsung hasn’t used that connectivity till now and has been doing with either a MicroUSB 2.0 or MicroUSB 3.0 connectivity.
The fingerprint scanner on the Note7 is said to be made a lot better, still staying on the home button. There are rumors that you don’t have to press the home button to activate the fingerprint sensor now. It will work like the fingerprint scanner on the back of some smartphones where just tapping on it would help unlock the screen.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Features
What makes a smartphone great is the list of best features of it. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 is said to offer some of the best features that no other phone will have, and even if they have, it won’t be so good.
Waterproof feature – It is confirmed by Evan Blass from Evleaks that the phone is coming with IP68 certification, which is for the waterproofing and dust resistance. This is in line with the Galaxy S7 smartphone that had the same feature of waterproofing. It will be interesting to see how this will work with the S Pen that will have a pocket and have a risk of water ingress into the device.
Iris Scanning – This feature of unlocking the phone by using eye verification is surely going to be a great step towards security if you don’t think the fingerprint scanner is going to be as secure as you expected. Iris scanning will take advantage of the front camera of the phone.
Better S Pen features – The S Pen has been one of the unique features of the Galaxy Note series. It is the only smartphone series in the market that still offers a functional stylus that does a lot when it comes to features and functionality. The S Pen on the Galaxy Note7 is said to have a lot of better features, which would not just help with some functionality but also with better multitasking.
Wireless charging – The charging ways are very important. If you are someone who doesn’t like the hassles of wires for charging, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will have support for wireless charging.
Fast charging – When there is such a big battery as a 4000 mAh one on the phone, you know that the device will take a long time to charge if it uses the normal technology for charging. With the fast charging feature, it not just helps in charging the battery faster, it also helps get a few hours of talk time when charging the phone for just a few minutes.
Grace UX on Android Marshmallow – Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on Android has been becoming better with time and Samsung is now launching a new UI named Grace UI, with a new user ex[erience loaded with several new features and gesture controls.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Price
Now, this will be the most interesting part about the phone because even though we are seeing a lot of new features added by Samsung all the time into the Note devices, the pricing is one of the major factors where one decides whether to purchase the phone or not.
Some of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers have been launching great devices for affordable prices and this is making it hard for the established brands to compete with them with their flagships. The pricing of phones from Xiaomi, OnePlus, Meizu, OPPO, etc. have been so competitive that Samsung, Apple, and others are facing some heat because of the pricing.
The pricing of the Note7 will be based on the market and in the U.S. and U.K., there will be contracts too with 2-year contracts from the best network providers.
Here are the expected prices of Galaxy Note 7 in different markets. It wouldn’t be much different from the price of Samsung Galaxy S7.

Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB RAM and 512GB storage?
A mini computer, is this? Well, we aren’t lying about it because one of the leaks also talked about these particular specs for the upcoming phablet and if true, it will be a marvel with the power it will pack. 6GB RAM is still quite okay because now smartphones have started packing that much amount of RAM.
What is important here is the internal storage packed into the device. 512GB is seriously a very good amount of storage if Samsung is really doing it. It won’t just remove the need for a MicroSD card but also will be good because a MicroSD card if used, will be slower in performance. It will be the UFS technology for the storage, which is much faster and better than others in the market right now.
Galaxy Note7 Benchmark Scores
One of the early benchmark scores showed numbers as big as 150000 from AnTuTu benchmark test and this could be one of the highest scores ever seen on a smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge also had great rankings and some of the other phones that topped the list recently were LeEco Le Max 2 and OnePlus 3.
The Galaxy Note7 will have a better score than the others because there is a lot offered in the device. Also, if we are seeing the RAM and storage as expected above, you know you are going to see a super phone.
Galaxy Note7 Color Options
As you have seen above, those are some official press photos of the Note7 and you can see three different types of the same. You can check Galaxy Note7 press renders to learn more about it.
We will soon have the Samsung Galaxy Note7 Review up when the phone gets released and we will be using it perfectly for you to know whether the device is worth it or not.
